In a sense the storyboarder "dreams up" the story onto the page. We see suddenly a story told from different angles. The character is there on his bed. We see what he sees on the wall, details in the room. We see him in the eyes, in close up, and we can get a real sense that he is thinking or feeling something. Then, as if putting him at a distance, under a microscope, we see him sitting there through square of his window from the outside, in a shot very wide that shows the whole house.
